My sister went home from dating yesterday and she brought me a paper cup of my favorite Starbucks' Green Tea Latte. I thought, hey, I always love greentealatte, let's make a duplicate out of it :D

Simple, I unfolded the cup :p TEEHEE !!

With all due respect, I appreciate what Starbucks is trying to do to the environment and what Conservation International had done for this design. This activity has no bad intention, nor bad purpose :)

" These "Schlösser der Liebe" ( Locks of Love ) can be found at the Hohenzollernbrücke in Cologne, Germany. Each lock has the names of the two lovers written on, the key gets thrown into the Rhein river then. As a symbol for eternal love.

Holiday it is. I've been using my time to do some activities which will give me good impacts. I've been exercising, cooking ( I've improved a lot, if you've read my previous posts ), reading, and surprisingly, writing.

Inspired by the great scripts written by people who wrote scripts of any great movies and tv series, I tried to start writing. In order to do that, I tried to figure out what type of story I'm gonna be writing. It occured to me that fast that if I'm gonna write something, it has to be criminals or else around it.

Heaps of time I've used to write twelve pages and I realized that while I was writing, I was being true to myself either. It's kind of a self discovering because when I write, I know more about me. It makes me interested more in me in a good way, I know for sure I'm gonna have to dig in to my personality even more.

I found that I have a great interest in symbols. Literally, and not literally. I love ancient symbols, it is remarkable just to think of the way people used to think back in those days. But I'm also interested in life symbols, symbols like behavior, ways to speak, body languages etc., symbols that can help me read what other people is thinking. With symbols, I can now whether that person is scared, happy, nervous, or maybe they're in love.

Of all places that I concern about their neatness, my room is the least. If any of you guys thought my bedroom is super tidy, well you're wrong :p Speaking of which, today I am sick, pain is all over my body. I can't do anything but to stare at all things in my room, and I found that some of''em are pretty memorable

Mini Instax that I had since I was in elementary school as a birthday gift from my parents. After I ran out of film I decided to dump it with the thought that it was so unsophisticated ( that time, digital cameras are all over the market ). Turned out that right now almost everyone is using it ... when mine's already broken.

The 'BRING IT ON NOW' paper cut I created for my friend Clarisza Runtung's ( her link to her blog is at my sidebar ) birthday party. She gave each person that came to her party a blank white shirt and we should do something with it. I decided to stick that because I didn't want to cut the shirt. That was a .... pretty memorable party :D

A view from the window above me. Well it's not really memorable, it's just the house next to me which I captured a little in the pict used to scare me everyday :p

A TOEFL Book that belongs to Krysta Amelia that I forgot to return *oops :p This reminds me of the struggle I made to be able to get into the university that I want. That book is literally my white knight since the entrance test was using TOEFL book. Thanks Krys :)

Atempt is Bliss ..... or not ?

One day, all of my family members were away from home and I was ... home alone part one -___-
I wanted to be as productive as I could, so I went to my kitchen and tried to make a chocolate pudding.

So first I grabbed my 4 Hershey's Kisses Brand ( chocolate ) with berry filling and 2 Hershey's 70% chocolate. Put'em in the bowl that I'm gonna use as double boiler.

Inserted some milk, flour, an egg, and some butter.

Put some water to my pan and turn on the heat, and I put my bowl on top of the pan. VOILA, DOUBLE BOILER :)
Stirred it well until all the chocolate and butter had melt, also until I couldn't see the physical form of the flour.

Grabbed a fancy glass for the pudding.
Yea... that's the time when I realized..... ..... ..... my oven was broken. Then I thought oh well, I can use the fridge instead.
So I let it rest for couple of minutes, and I put it in the fridge.

1 hour
top layer had begun to come together, good sign, I thought I'm a chef :)

1,5 hrs
1 mm had froze

2 hrs
WTH, 2 MM ???!!! I was super hungry !!!!

2.15 hrs
CARE NO MORE, I'M EATING THAT !

National Geographic is most-def my new favourite channel.

Ujian Nasional tinggal sebentar lagi. Makin deket, entah kenapa berasa makin libur, watch TV for like ... e ve ry day ! Hari ini, jadwalnya : National Geographic. Ada ulasan tentang Museum Nasional Taiwan. Oh well, looks boring, but what the heck, I'll give it a try. Tell you what, the review was revealing and astonishing.

National Palace Museum. A museum located in Taipei, Taiwan. This museum, unlike any other museum in Indonesia, is really, extremely well preserved. Inside the building, there are thousands of art, crafts, pottery, calligraphy, and many more created in one of the most unique Chinese dinasty, ruled by Chi'en Lung, the only king who had his most concern in art and pointed himself as the mighty curator.

Amazingly, pekerja di situ keterlaluan banyaknya, dan gilanya lagi mereka semua adalah highly educated scientists yang cinta banget sama peninggalan - peninggalan Kaisar Chi'en Lung and they did their legacy real well.

Museumnya direnovasi supaya tetep banyak yang dateng. Full security camera. Highly convinient 29 galleries. And it doesn't stope there.

Kelembapan dan temperatur di dalem gedung sangat diperhatikan, mereka mau semua peninggalan tetep terjaga. Gedung harus tetep dingin, jadi mereka punya alat khusus supaya suhu gedung terjaga. Kelembapan dan suhu dilihat dari banyaknya orang dalam galeri di mana semakin banyak orang, suhunya harus semakin dijaga. Ga cuma itu, pergerakan matahari juga dikontrol, beda jam, beda posisi matahari, di tempat matahari itu berada, bagian gedung itulah yang harus lebih diperhatikan suhunya.

Museum ini juga dilengkapi dengan banyak fasilitas hi-tech. Contoh yang paling oke : 3D pottery, same consistent curves ... wait for it ... in a crystal ball. Karena pengunjung gaada yang boleh megang langsung, biar mereka puas, mereka bisa seakan - akan megang itu semua, bisa diputer - puter, pake crystal ball ! Ooooo what could be better.

Apart from being well kept since before world war 2, they are well preserved. Lobang - lobang di lukisan diisi dengan kapas anti asam, kertas robek ditambel, lukisan pudar, direpaint. That's probably usual things normal museums should do, but check this out. Hong Kong berada di zona seismik ... ( well I'm not really good in geography, sorry I'm unable to complete the sentence ) yang bikin tempat itu sangat rentan gempa. Honestly I was a bit shocked when the museum really thought about that. Benda - benda yang mahal dan priceless ditopang dengan bengan nilon yang sangat tipis tapi cukup kuat dengan hitungan tertentu yang bikin mereka gabakalan jatoh kalo ada gempa segede apa pun.

Di KOMPAS kemarin, halaman 1, ada ulasan tentang merosotnya sastra di Indonesia. Pusat sastra mau ditutup ? Gara - gara sepi, ga ada yang dateng, ga ada peminat ? *speechless Menurut pakar - pakar, sastra menjadi salah satu penentu kemajuan bangsa. Orang - orang Taiwan sangat menjaga warisannya. Siapa lagi ? Jepang, Cina, Inggris, Jerman, sebutin semua negara maju di dunia dan cari yang mana yang ga terkenal kebudayaan aslinya. Masing - masing negara maju pasti punya satu daya tarik kebudayaan, mungkin ini teori yang aneh, tapi kebudayaan asli suatu negara bisa bikin negara itu maju. Salah satunya mungkin dengan bahasa ?

Yeap sastra is boring ( walaupun kata pakar kita bisa ningkatin imajinasi kita kalau baca sastra ) tapi kita bisa kan ngembangin yang lain selain sastra. Look around, we also have hundreds, maybe thousands of heritages, and it's our legacy to preserve them, people. Ayo dong, kapan sih mental orang Indonesia bener ?

Everything in this world starts with the well known If Clause

What if I eat that fish ?
What if I clash those stones ?
What if I plant a tree ?
What if I dry the sea ?
What if I put that white sandy-textured thing to my fish ?
What will happen if I mix this liquid ?
How will the world react with the founding of something that can connects them across the world ?
Can you keep secrets if someone gave you twenty billion dollars not to keep them ?
Can someone stop smoking if they know that they're endangering their family ?
Can a couple hang on to their vow if troubles come ?
Can people change their mind if they know what's right for them ?
Can the enchanted resists to be lured by the enchantress, again and again and again ?

Questions are made to be answered.
Sometimes it's easy to get some answers because they're tight in front of our eyes.
Sometimes we have to think harder because they're hiding in the plain sight.
Sometimes we have to struggle to get them because it's actually someone else's secret.
Sometimes we have to lie because if we don't, we're gonna be unable to sleep, dying to know the answer.

... ... ...

Sometimes, we just have to die, because we couldn't find the answer easily, or by thinking harder, or by struggling, or even lying. It's the universal answer that can only be answered by God, not the Bible nor the constitution's legal papers.

Drama is fun to watch, no drama no life. But drama is not what I live for. Drama is the least I want to have from my 100-have-to-have-things list. Masterchef US is all about competition. No unimportant drama, no negative aura from one or more competitors, no unhealthy competition, what they're focusing is only how to win the competition by giving out their best.

A school girl gave out the opportunity to enter the college she wants, a consultant with six zeros digit salary gave out his job, a successful doctor gave out her duty, a boyfriend went to the quarantine leaving his girlfriend alone, just to reach out their dream, their goal. And to reach a goal, we must go over those competitions, and sacrifices have to be made. That is how I see what my life should be.

So, which one do you choose ? Drama or Competition ?

If my teacher ask me to make a story using if-Clause, this is what I'm going to write

When I was studying for my history test, this came up. If the Constantinople wasn't being occupied by Turkey, there would be no big world exploration by the Europeans, and if the Dutch didn't try to follow fellow countries, they wouldn't occupied us for 350 years, and if that Huygen van Linchosten didn't get that map from a Portuguese man, the Dutch would have no map to go here. And if the Dutch didn't found out that Indonesian people were so dumb back then, they wouldn't exploited Indonesia's resources for bad purposes.
And if Netherlands just recognized the sovereignty of Indonesia in 1945, there will be no such thing as rebellions all over Indonesia until 1950s, and of course attempts of the separatists. Also if President Soekarno & co. wasn't being so slow and often being so noncommittal, a lot of better agreements would've been created,
and the history book wouldn't be that thick with long stories.

And if the ancient Greek hadn't found out about pythagoras, medicines, etc. which lead to huge experimental era which continue until now, people woudln't have found out about why on earth do things fall, how light burns, how scissors cut, why Soviet fell, why Yugoslavia split, why Japan surrendered, why America buildt atomic bombs, how trends go up and down, how "servants" give the country a huge percentage of devisa, why treasure + debts = capital, why J.K. Rowling wrote Harry Potter ?

And if I continue this story, I'm going to use all the paper in the world.

2012, we depend on Earth

EARTH, a planet which is walking towards it's destruction ?

You know that earth has a giant magnetic field, created by the friction between the lava and the hard nucleus of earth. The magnetic field has a lot of uses, one of them is protecting the earth from radiation from the sun. Imagine if the magnetic field is gone ..

All earth's plates, right now, are moving slowly to the north pole, because that is the center of the magnetic field.
Scientists then found out, that the magnetic area of the earth is slowly missing. Now, Latin America has no magnetic field, which means that they have less protection from the sun radiation. Those scientists tried to find out why.

They then examined some layers of stones at a mountain in Hawaii which often explodes, so there are a lot of layers of stones from different years since thousands years ago. So, stones have a material structure which they ( scientists ) analyze. The top layers' stones indicates that they were moving towards the North Pole. But surprisingly, the lower layers' stones indicates that they were moving towards the South Pole!

Which lead us to a conclusion
Maybe, hundreds years ago, all plates of earth were moving toward the South Pole as the center of the magnetic field, then there was this thing which we don't know yet that made the center of the magnetic field changed. And now, the change will happen again ?

Or maybe, since thousands years ago, all plates are moving towards North Pole, and now the earth changed it's magnetic field on its own under some circumstances ?

Those scientists made a hypothesis, that all magnetic field all over the world will be gone slowly. When that odd condition reach a point ( maybe when the magnetic field are gone fully ), the center of the magnetic field will also change. South Pole will be the new base.

It is said that on 2012, the sun will have the next biggest explosion ( the first one already happened ), means, if the magnetic field all over the world is gone, we don't have good protectors from that dangerous radiation. You know, maybe this is what the Mayans predicted.

Can we prevent the earth to not change the magnetic field ? No, we can't, some said that "it's what the earth do". Some said that "Earth maybe destructing, humans maybe die. But the earth has it's own way to make this planet back to the early condition"

Maybe, right now, humans can do nothing but to prepare, find out a solution to reduce the bad impacts as good as humans' can.

Well I really want to make something with huge positive effect esp for my country Indonesia. Indonesia really needs better economy consultants, educations, and health platforms. I want to do big projects concerning those three things I mentioned, but seems like everybody wants to do that, so I'm gonna start with little projects. See, people now are busy with their works and deadlines, busy trying so hard to get to their dreams, busy busy busy. Me and some of my friends realized that and we made a small group called iExcite, consists of some young folks from different schools in Jakarta and we make some fun yet inspirational projects.
Thanks to the group : IMPROV EVERYWHERE ( improveverywhere.com ) we got some ideas to make people smile. Yes, some smiles from other people are our main target. We can work and do our duties 110% every single time of our life if we can balance seriousness with some fun !! Stresses can slow us down to accomplish our works, it brings negative effect ; illness, social disorientation.

So, if time and money are not an issue, I'm going to make a big project. We'll close the main street in Jakarta on Sunday ( we usually have a car-free day and we're gonna use that day for our project. place : Bundaran HI, Central Jakarta ), we'll gather 500 poor children from all across Jakarta and another 500 from orphanages. We will hold a huge music concert on the street ( because music is, I believe, a universal language ), then we will put four huge white screens complete with projectors and we will play a documentary film about fighting for life in a good way. Finally, we're gonna give them all free books and slippers. Why books ? because everybody need books for better knowledge of the world, so we won't be lost in this globalization era. Why slippers ? Because streets, even floors, they're not 100% clean. We have Ancylostoma duodenale, a type of worm which bites human's foot-skin and wonder around our body. Cleanliness is something we have to learn since we're little. This project's fund will be covered by some big sponsors and securities will be provided by the government.
So much for a dream ? You know what they say, big success start from a big dream ...

there's a beer celebration in Germany every October called OctoberFest where everybody gather around in one place and drink large portions of beer. I wish we have something like that here in Indonesia, maybe KleponFest or BandrekFest

simple, just make big announcement on street billboards, TVs, radios, famous Indonesian websites stating that there's gonna be a huge public celebration concerning about our specific traditional drinks ( or food ). It's gonna be fun, awesome, epic, memorable !! #indonesiaunite

Singkat cerita, ada tiga dokter, dokter pertama sejak kecil suka sekali pelajaran biologi dan dia sangat suka bereksperimen dengan anatomi manusia, itu adalah suka sebagai HOBI. Dokter kedua menjadi dokter di rumah sakit ternama dan mendapat gaji yang besar, ia rela bekerja sampai malam, tapi tujuan dia hanya mendapat uang dan memenuhi target dari rumah sakit, namun ia tetap enjoy dalam menjalaninya, itu suka sebagai KARIER. Dokter yang terakhir adalah dokter sukarelawan di pedalaman, ia tidak pernah minta dibayar, ia hanya menerima apa adanya dan tidak meminta balas jasa. Ia hanya ingin orang - orang di daerah tempat ia bekerja selalu sehat dan senang, itu suka sebagai PASSION.

That was me and my father when he played FreeCell at his laptop. He then pressed ctrl-z several times until it's back from the very beginning. Then he started his game yet again. He lost again, if he'd moved one more step. The then pressed ctrl-z again, and restarted his game yet again until he finally won.

description of the shop :
located at the ground floor of Senayan City Mall ( why ? I don't know )
size : small
wall : lower-half white brick, upper-half contrast broken white
look from outside : just like the picture
look from the inside : covered with white table and shelves, with full of sweets on top of it.
name : on progress
names of sweets : any kind, you name it yourself
prize : I promise you it'll be cheap !

true love itu everlasting love, everlasting love baru bisa diliat kalau sudah tua. Itu momen di mana kita masih mikirin perasaan pasangan kita, takut dia kenapa - kenapa, ga pengen dia sedih, ga mau dia ga suka, ga mau dia sakit, ga mau foto sendiri, ga mau dia sendiri.

Itu saat di mana kalau kita di restoran, kita bakal mesen yang disenengin pasangan kita dan dia bakal mesen yang disenengin sama kita, karena kita sama - sama ga mau pasangan kita mual gara - gara ga suka sama makanannya.

Itu periode di mana kalau lagi nonton tv, kita bakal nyetel channel berita yang disenengin si dia, dan dia bakal ngambil remote dan ganti channel masak yang kita senengin, karena kita sama - sama ga mau pasangan kita ketinggalan sesuatu yang baru.
